Wool & other animal hair

Wool is in many ways a great material. It has perfect thermoregulation, does not take on odours and is water repellent and elastic. However, it can easily shrink and sometimes can be irritating to the skin.

Common in high-quality knitwear, suits, office wear and performance wear.

CARE

  • due to its properties, it is not necessary to to wash wool very often

  • dry clean or hand wash in lukewarm water (soak in water with mild soap, shampoo or a special detergent), do not wring or twist

  • dry lying flat, do not tumble dry, do not dry in direct sunlight

  • iron inside out or steam at a low temperature, preferably let your garment hang and the wrinkles will straighten

  • do not bleach

Silk

Silk is a delicate but strong animal-based material. It has a specific luxurious shine and is a great insulator with good elasticity.

CARE

  • wash at 40°C (in some cases, higher temperatures are also possible)

  • may be tumble dried, but we recommend to hang dry

Both viscose and lyocell are man-made yarns from cellulose (which is itself made from eucalyptus, bamboo, soy and various other trees). These materials have a very nice, soft and cooling touch but become more delicate when wet.

Suitable for "flowy" dresses, tops and loungewear.

CARE

  • wash inside out at 30°C at a gentle cycle

  • hang dry or dry lying flat
